YouKnowChatta

I build small Linux tools, desktop apps and game tooling, mostly because I wanted them to exist.

This site is also a tiling desktop that imitates my real one: click around, open windows, read the same things. Open the desktop. On a bigger screen this site is a tiling desktop. On a phone it's this page, which is the better deal. Try the desktop anyway (one window at a time).

Now

Updated

Building this site, and the YKC Brain: the notes my agents read before they touch anything, with a graph view that now runs as its own app. grey-hub, my hacking-sim game, is on the back burner until those two are done.

Projects

Medal for Linux

An always-on clip recorder for Linux: instant replay on a hotkey. PipeWire + NVENC, no OBS, no account, no cloud.

YKC Brain

The knowledge base my agents read: plain markdown in one vault, with rules and a linter.

Approve sudo with the fingerprint on my phone: a Go daemon, a PAM helper and an Android app.

One address for everything, security reports included (/.well-known/security.txt says the same). No contact form: forms need a server, and servers need patching.
